KISSKISS have reported that they will be contributing a recording of the Paul McCartney and Wings track Venus And Mars/Rock Show to a new McCartney tribute album that will also include Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, BB King and Paul Rodgers.

The band wrote on their Facebook Page: “After being invited, we chose and sang Venus and Mars/Rockshow for the McCartney tribute album. Other performers include Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, BB King and Paul Rodgers. The backing tracks were all recorded by Paul McCartney's touring band. We consider it an honor to be asked to participate on a tribute to one of the most influential and greatest singer/songwriters of all time. Not to mention, a major forces in the most important band of all time, The Beatles. Wow!”

"Venus and Mars/Rock Show" was released on November 1, 1975, to promote the Wings album Venus and Mars; the two songs were the album's first and second tracks. It became McCartney's first post-Beatles single to fail to reach the UK Singles Chart. It fared better in the United States, where it peaked at #12.

The chorus of "Rock Show" mentions concerts at Amsterdam's Concertgebouw, New York's Madison Square Garden, and Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl. The verses also name-drop other musical acts, including Jimmy Page. "Venus and Mars" also has a reprise that appears on the Venus and Mars album, which serves to open the B-side of the LP record.

No further details about the album have been released.
