Jordin Sparks Records New Song With John Legend

American Idol sweetheart Jordin Sparks is in the studio recording her third studio album with John Legend and others. The “No Air” singer knocked off one of the tracks in an hour.  “One down! Finished in an hour! Next song! :)” she tweeted once it was finished.

Sparks also posted a photo of herself with Legend after the track was done. She has not released the name of the song yet and there is no release date set for the album. Since releasing her second album in July 2009, Sparks has been busy with several tours, including her first headlining tour in 2010.

In 2010 the singer recorded a cover version of the theme song "Beauty and the Beast" and filmed an accompanying music video with director Philip Andelman to celebrate the DVD/Blu-Ray release of the famous animated movie. The song Battlefield was also featured in the popular video game Dance Dance Revolution 2010.
