RockStar Weekly had a chance to talk to Douglas Akers – Director of a new documentary film about the legendary Cobo Arena. His passion for filming documentaries and the desire to have the history of the Cobo Arena live on forever is what brought on this amazing project. While researching events that occurred at the arena and interviewing musicians and others who have either wrestled or played at the arena has discovered that he was not the only one that had a love for the famous arena. Some of the musicians he sp[oke to recalled “you didn’t make it unless you played the Cobo Arena”.
