GWAR's Oderus Urungus On 25 Years Of Rocking On Earth

RockStar Weekly has the pleasure of talking to Oderus Urungus, the leader of the universal scumdogs, GWAR. He was excited to talk to us mere humans about the release of the new album Lust in Space, which also marks the 25th Anniversary of the band geting stuck on Planet Earth.

Oderus reveales what the a the 25th anniversary concert experience will be like:

"It's going to be amazing. Basically, what we're doing is we're bringing in the SS Scum which is our big scum ship, our intergalactic transport warcraft, that has a giant chainsaw stuck to the front of it that can actually saw a planet in half. It's a ship of an old scumdog brother of ours that goes by the name of SawBorg Destructo.... What we're going to do is take the spaceship and park it right on the stage, then encourage everyone to get on and blast off. You'll actually get to travel through outer space when you go to a GWAR show, but will be back in-time for the encore and the final battle with Cardinal Sin..."

Oderus also discusses why they landed in Antarctica so many years ago, touches on what it's like being the Interplanetary Correspondent for Fox News, his wrestling experience and what he would like to wrestle in the future!

Is there a message behind Lust In Space?

Being the album that celebrates your 25th anniversary, is there anything special about Lust In Space that helps mark the moment for you?

So why Antarctica, Did you accidentally land there?

You guys still seem as brutal and violent as ever. Have things changed since the band started 25 years ago?

Is your master still mad at you?

Do you still consider yourselves the Slumdogs, I mean Scumdogs Of The Universe?

On the Japanese website it said that August 18th was marked by the band as the start of your 25th anniversary of mayhem on earth. Why did you choose my wedding anniversary to mark such a monumental moment?

Whats up with Fox News. Youve been on there a few times. Are you planning on taking it over?

Is there any good news coming from outer space at all?

Thats right, no one has the right to destroy the human race except for GWAR, because you started the human race.

I noticed you were also in an IWA wrestling match with Tracy Smothers. You won.

I would like that match actually.

Back in 1992, GWAR sang America Must Be Destroyed. Obviously you havent succeeded yet?

Oderus, Being from outer space, you may not have an opinion, but how does GWAR feel about terrorists?

Are you going to make your way out to Sodia Arabia and area at all?

You guys seem to be very gullible?

Has the Oderus outfit changed at all?

What are the women like in outer space?
