No joke - it’s a lot of work. We’ve been drowning in work. Who ever thought that being a musician would be this much work, but it’s what we’ve always been wanting and it’s all coming true. We’re seeing our dreams unfolding very slowly in front of our own eyes, you know. There are definitely no complaints from this end." Check out the rest of the interview, including where their name came from and what it could have been, from one of Montreal's hottest bands. You have a new album out. Congratulations. I understand that it’s been 2 years in the making of this album. Can you tell me about the album – what was your inspiration for the album. The cover looks fabulous. What was the inspiration behind it? Can you give us a bit of the history of the band? Where did the name Special Ops come from? What were some of the other names the band was thinking of? Who are your personal influences and who is the bands influences? Are you playing any dates to support the CD? How did you meet Jon Asher? He’s a pretty active publicist. Tell me a bit about the Montreal metal scene. I hear it’s pretty active.
