RockStar Radio is currently recruiting a team of intern/volunteer reporters, writers and photographers to cover the music scene, as we live it in BC. We are currrently looking to find team members to contribute in the following areas:

• Concert Reviews
• Fashion News
• Band Interviews both in print and audio
• Concert and Band Photographers

 

BASIC INFORMATION:

RockStar Radio is seeking interns/volunteers with strong backgrounds in writing and a serious interest in music and youth culture for editorial positions. Applicants do not need to be enrolled in an accredited university in order to be eligible to contrbute.Photographers need to understand the lighting requirements while shooting at concerts and might be required to follow protocol while shooting professional concerts.

All editorial/photographic internships/volunteer positions are completed at your own pace, on an assignement/as-needed basis. Unfortunately we can not provide travel assistance at this time.

APPLICATION MATERIALS:

Complete intern applications include a cover letter, resume, and 2-4 clips or photo samples, preferably of work previously published in newspapers or magazines (or online). Applicants without published clips are encouraged to submit music-related pieces (reviews or news stories) written on their own. There is no formal application form.
