Alexisonfire To Rock Aussie Soundwave Festival Before Canadian Tour

Alexisonfire have announced two Australian club dates in February as part of the Soundwave sideshows, before the band returns to their homeland to join Billy Talent for a massive cross-Canada tour. The band will perform an all-ages show in Sydney on Feb. 22 and an adult 18+ only show in Melbourne on Feb. 24. Joining Alexisonfire for the club dates will be Comeback Kid and Anti Flag.

Alexisonfire is the product of five kids from the liberal, suburban paradise of Southern Ontario. The band started as an escape from the banalities of adolescence; basically, it was something to do on the weekend. All five of us were active in our local music scene, which consisted mostly of kid promoted shows at local union halls. The band is supporting their fourth studio album Old Crows/Young Cardinals.
