GWAR's eleventh studio album, Lust in Space, was released on Aug. 18, through Metal Blade Records. They performed at the 2009 Gathering of the Juggalos to promote their new album and have been on tour throughout the US and Canada, with Lamb of God and Job For A Cowboy.

GWAR is a Grammy Award-nominated thrash metal band formed in Richmond, Virginia in 1985. The band is best known for their elaborate sci-fi/horror film inspired costumes; raunchy, obscene lyrics; and graphic stage performances, which consist of humorous re-enactments of political and moral taboo themes.
