Adam Lambert Video Shows A Monumental Performer |
|
The music video shows a subdued Lambert singing as the world falls apart around him - suitable as the lead video for the upcoming disaster film directed by Roland Emmerich. The movie, starring John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson will be released on November 13, 2009 worldwide. RockStar Weekly's editor, Dan Savoie, may appear in the film as a Russian mobster at a boxing match. Savoie was a featured background actor when the film was shot in Vancouver in August 2008. RockStar Weekly is excited that the first post-Idol Lambert track and video is a rock track - ballad or not. With Idol performances alongside such rock legends as Queen and KISS, it would have been a shame to hear a pop/dance track first. Judging from the feedback, tweets and interviews, Lambert's CD , For Your Entertainment which is expected in stores on Nov. 23 via 19 Recordings/RCA/Sony, should be somewhat similar to 1970s Queen albums, which featured a variety of rock, funk and quirky tracks, making for a unique and undeniable sound. Enjoy the new Lambert video for Time For Miracles, which has just been released: |

Rocker Adam Lambert has just released his first music video, a concept piece for the song Time For Miracles from the movie 2012 today (Oct. 21). The song, which was leaked by iTunes in several countries early last week, is a powerful classic rock styled ballad sounding much like something Queen would have released had it been the band responsible for the song. If the rest of his debut album strives to be monumental like Queen, Lambert will be the artist of the 2010's, just as Queen was in the 70s and Michael Jackson was in the 80s.
