Twilight New Moon Soundtrack Released Four Days Early

The Twilight: New Moon soundtrack has been moved up from its October 20 release date to Thurs., Oct. 16. The disc includes the new Death Cab For Cutie single Meet Me On The Equinox, as well as new songs from Thom Yorke of Radiohead, The Killers, OK Go and more. Twilight: New Moon will be in theaters on November 20.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has decided not to contribute to the soundtrack for the vampire movie’s forthcoming sequel because he wants to keep music as a back up career.

The British heartthrob is an accomplished composer, pianist and guitarist and wrote two songs for the original soundtrack, which topped the U.S. album charts last year. He told OK! Magazine, “I really didn’t want it to look like I was trying to cash in. Music is my back up plan.”
